A few strong storms on opposite sides of the state:

* Near Bridgeport in the NE corner of the state. Moving NE 10. May produce dime-size hail and wind gusts to about 40 as it moves toward:

….Bridgeport
….Long Island
….U.S. 72
….Tennessee River near Nickajack Lake

* Marion County in NW Alabama. The storm was 6 miles west of hackleburg or about 8 miles north of Hamilton moving north at 16. Small hail and gusts to 40 with frequent cloud to ground lightning and heavy downpours of rain. Moving toward Hackleburg.

Also over NW Alabama, a narow north-south strong of showers and thunderstorms extended from near Florence southward through the west portions of Colbert and Franklin County to Marion County

Everything moving NE.

Looking at the big picture, showers and storms are scarce (very widely spaced)
