Severe thunderstorm warning until 4 pm for Northeast Marhshall County and Southeast Madison County. Biggest threat is lightning and damaging wind.
Amazingly to me, the Gurley Fire Department reported hail up to golf ball size. I just would not have expected hail that big with the warm temperatures in the upper atmosphere. They did say the hail ranged from marble size up to golf ball.
Be safe. As a thunderstorm approaches, go inside a substantial building or a vehicle until the storm passes or subsides.
