Three BIG clusters of storms were occurring at 3:45 pm. One on the AL/MS line near Red Bay, one affecting Lauderdale and Lawrence counties between Rogersville and Moulton, and one from near Hazel Green in Madison County to near Grant in Marshall County. All storms were moving slowly south-southeast.
A new storm has developed in the last 20 minutes over the northern portion of Cherokee County just northeast of Centre. Always concerned about those storms near recreational facilities like Weiss Lake. Boaters are so vulnerable to the weather and these storms can develop quite quickly.
The small storms in Walker County have dissipated without amounting to much.
