It sure seems that way. Where I live in NE Trussville, it is raining so hard that visibility is less than one mile. We have received 2.05 inches bringing the total to 5.66 inches since the weekend. Fully 75 percent of the state is getting rain at this moment. We can credit almost all of that to Fickle Fay.

At some point tomorrow, we will try to come up with a storm total for various locations around the state. Severe weather today prevented anything accomplished in that regard.

The remains of Fay were centered over South Mississippi this afternoon. The circulation will move NE across West and North Alabama tomorrow.

At midafternoon, the most extensive and heaviest rain was over East Alabama and also the entire northern half. Flash Flood Watches continue.

We have another report from the Russet Woods area of Hoover and they have received 3.50 inches so far today!!
