Heavy showers and thunderstorms now moving NE across Etowah County including the Gadsden area. Skywaters report cloud to ground lightning, low clouds and heavy rain. Our 33/40 Skywatcher reports 0.35 rain in about 20 minutes.

Over North Alabama, heaviest was over West Morgan County.
Scattered moderate to heavy showers and thunderstorms extend southward through east Central and SE Alabama. It seems that there is a lot more showers and storms over the east half of the state than over the west half.
