LAWN WATCH: Despite some rain at most locations across Central Alabama in the past seven days, the heat is drying out our lawns and hardens and short term rainfall deficits are showing up again. Most spots could use between 0.5-1.5 inches of rain right now.
CHANCES: Cooling showers will be few and far between to non-existent tomorrow and Tuesday, much like today. Only isolated showers and storms are expected. Moisture levels will start to rise by late in the week as a low level southerly flow us established over the Deep South and that will allow for more in the way of daily showers and storms.
