Blog has been down for awhile due to an extreme overload but is now back up.
Here are some quick notes to PARTIALLY get us got up.
* Wind damage at Inland Lake inSouth Blount County around 11:30. Trees and power lines down. Several fire departments were dispatched to cut and remove trees. No known injuries.
* Flash Flood Watch continues for most of the state.
* New Tornado Watch extends the coverage into Extreme North Alabama and it goes until 7 pm. This includes the general area from Cullman northward.
* Most of the rest of the state Tornado Watch continues until 3 pm.
* Tornado Warning for Randolph County until 12:30.
* New Tornado Warning for Calhoun, Clay and Cleburne County until 12:30. Storm os suspiction was 14 miles south of Anniston and 10 miles SE ofOxford moving north at 31.
This update is not as complete as I would like–in a catching up mode. Don’t ignore the tremendous torrents of rain that are causing problems today.
