Most of North and Central Alabama is free of precipitation this afternoon.

A few light showers were over Northwest Alabama…

…along the Franklin/Marion County line
…over western Lauderdale and Colbert Counties.
…just east of Tuscaloosa

A thunderstorm was over northern Elmore County north of Wetumpka. It is moving west. Others were south of Montgomery.

In Northeast Alabama, some storms were just over the Tennessee border moving to the southeast. These storms will affect northeast Jackson County.

Most of the area will see fair skies this evening, with just a tiny chance of a shower in the I-20/59 corridor.

Perfect for looking at the Summer Triangle and the ISS/Space Shuttle as it passes overhead.
