Showers and thunderstorms continue to diminish and thin out across extreme North Alabama late tonight.

Most of the remaining ones at 10:15 were over Morgan, Limestone, Lawrence and Madison in the Tennessee Valley, Still a good bit of lightning but they are going downhill.

About 3/4 of an inch of rain occurred near Huntsville and almost one-half inch in Werst Jefferson County.

One of two showers also continues late tonight over North jefferson County west of I-65 and near Smokerise and Blount Springs in Blount County.
