Only a small percentage of Alabama getting showers early this afternoon.
But in Central Alabama, there was a large shower and thunderstorm that was dumping heavy rain over West Talladega County. The heaviest rain was south of I-20 down into Talladega County to near Alpine. But there was also a moderate to heavy shower that extended across I-20 between Riverside and Cook Springs.
Movement slowly westward. It was edging into NE Shelby County toward Sterrett and Vincent.
