Scattered strong thunderstorms continue across the Tennessee Valley and down the east side of Alabama, while very few were in progress over the western counties except the extreme SW.
At 3:25, there was not a single thunderstorm within 70 miles of Tuscaloosa.
A number of the thunderstorms are dumping very heavy rain over relatatively small areas, because they are moving so slowly. Winds aloft are so sluggish that there is not much to encourage fast movements.
The NWS in Huntsville continues a Flash Flood Warning until 4:30 p.m. for Limestone County. Very heavy rain was reported earlier around Athens and some more storms may form. In East Alabama, some of the heaviest rain was over East Coosa County, as well as Tallapoosa, Chambers and Randolph Counties. It was especially heavy between Rockford and Dadeville.

* Over Central Autauga County
* Over Western Etowah County
* Over South Talladega County
The intensity of these thunderstorms can vary considerably over a short period of time, so these updates can become outdated fairly often.
