At 3:30 am, most of the storms were over Chambers and Randolph County between Wedowee and Lafayette. The strongest storm was east of Lafayette crossing into Georgia.
These Alabama storms are part of a larger cluster of thunderstorms over Central Georgia Several places in East Alabama experienced lots of lightning and thunder in the last couple of hours and even some downpours.
This will probably be our last update. Now enroute to a power nap. However, if more strong storms develop, we will be back.
