Thunderstorms became a little more organized across Central Alabama at mid-afternoon.
A line of showers and storms extended from East Tuscaloosa County eastward across Shelby County to near Talladega and Anniston.
The heaviest rain was over East Shelby County. Danny Hill reports a quick 0,46 rain amount in Helena.
