Showers and thunderstorms not as numerous this afternoon compared to this same hour yesterday.
However, there are some scattered storms that are dumping very heavy rain. Such as:
* A cluster of storms in East Alabama between Montgomery and Phenix City. Pouring rain, especially over South Lee County and North Russell County. Considerable lightning also.
* North Marion County in NW Alabama
* Cherokee County in NE Alabama
* NW of Demopolis in West Alabama.
All showers and storms moving generally northward.
