Rain and drizzle persists tonight mainly over North Central and Northeast Alabama generally from Walker County all the way to Chattanooga. The more extensive rain at 9:30 in these counties:

Including a smaller area of heavy rain passing near or south of Fort Payne.

Foggy mainly over the northern part of the state. Visibility was only 1/4 mile at Tuscaloosa. The fog is not that dense everywhere but visibility will probably worsen as the night progresses.
