Scattered thunderstorms were developing this afternoon but almost all of them were over the southern part of the state. Even there the coverage was not extensive.There were very few showers or storms across North Alabama.
Several moderate to strong storms over in East Alabama west of Phenix City.
A better group of storms over SW Alabama generally from Wilcox and South Marengo County southward to Escambia County near the Florida border.
Movement is erratic.
