Scattered showers and thunderstorms over the NE Gulf of Mexico continue to move inland into South Alabama. Also some storms were occurring over the NE part of the state.
The main showers and thunderstorms, at 9:30 a.m., extended from Mobile off shore into the Gulf as well as over Escambia, Conecuh and Monroe Counties in the south. A separate family of thunderstorms were over NE Alabama, mainly from Etowah County and Cullman County NE. NWS in Huntsville continued a Flash Flood Warning until 11:30 for South/Central Marshall County.
