Rain is widespread over the south half of Alabama…generally light to occasionally moderate. Everything moving east.

At 11:30, most of the rain was south of the Livingston-Greensboro-Clanton-Rockford-Lafayette line. Little or no lightning involved.

SEVERE WEATHER
Still looks like Sunday event for Central Alabama. Could start late Saturday night and extend through much of Sunday morning. Still too early to be too specific on a time-line.

ONE NATIONAL NOTE
USA low this morning (Lower 48 states) was 1 (yes, that is +1) at Millinocket, Maine. Unless we find something colder, this is the first time in a LONG time without sub-zero cold.
