SEVERE WEATHER SITUATION
A lull at the moment. The last Severe Thunderstorm Warning was at 6:10 this morning in Mississippi issued by NWS/Jackson.
Probably our main action here in Alabama will be when a line of storms moves quickly across the state later this morning and this afternoon. That line of storms now extends from Extreme North Mississippi southwestward through West Mississippi into South Louisiana between Lake Charles and Baton Rouge. In their latest update, the SPC indicated a slight risk today from near Birmingham southward to the Coast. Extreme North Alabama was removed from the outlook.
