The line of thunderstorms across North Alabama is part of a longer line that extends westward to Central Mississippi and NE Louisiana. The line of storms is more solid in Alabama.
At 2:10 am, it was pouring across Lamar, North Fayette and South Marion County. Very heavy rain also east and SE of Huntsville.
More to the south, individual thunderstorms producing heavy rain were moving east along I-20 between Leeds and Anniston.
There is a second line of storms from NW Mississippi to NE Texas but not as organized.
Plenty of lightning in all of the main storms.
