Raining over most of Alabama tonight and temperatures continue to slowly fall.
Brightness of the radar return hints that sleet may be in the mix over Bibb, Perry and Hale County in West Central Alabama, Light sleet was actually reported at Columbus AFB in Extreme Mississippi.
Latest position report on the low pressure area in the North Gulf of Mexico was just south of the Louisiana-Mississippi Coast. Some thunderstorms were in progress over open waters of the North Gulf.
