Steady moderate to heavy rain continues over a good part of East Central and Southeast Alabama. Most of that rain is from about Talladega, Clay and Randolph County southward. Heaviest of all is over SE Alabama. Lightning return is limited mainly to the SE corner of the state.

All the rain is shifting eastward

Another line of lighter showers was located down the western side of the state near the eastward moving cold front. A few of those showers were moderate over Marion and Franklin County.

NWS/SPC (Storm Prediction Center) has removed the slight risk from Extreme SE Alabama. A small part of the Florida Panhandle is still included however.

The usual great list of Alabama Power rain reports is not available so far this morning. Here are a few of the heavier amounts from 33/40 SkyWatchers and NWS reports. We will post a more complete list later this morning.
