Very little going on around Alabama late this morning. In fact, at 10:30 there were a few showers over West/Central Alabama and possibly 1 or 2 bolts of lightning over the north edge of Tuscaloosa County. There will be a general increase in showers and thunderstorms, especially this afternoon and evening. We hope we won’t have to deal with so many severe thunderstorm warnings as we did yesterday. Many areas received some locally heavy rain and the lightning was as mean as it could be.
