Rain continues rather widespread over about the north one-third of Alabama early this afternoon.
It continues to move almost due eastward.
While much of the rain is light, we do note several pockets of moderate rain and even one area of moderate to heavy rain. That heaviest rain was mainly over NW Winston County and also along the Marion-Fayette County line.
Haleyville is now reporting heavy rain.
Some of the moderate to heavier rain will continue eastward toward Walker and Cullman County.
Temperatures are in the 50s in the rain area but in the 60s across Central Alabama and in the 70s down south. A few current temperatures:
