Where it Rained Today

Showers have been isolated across Alabama today.

Here is a storm total rainfall product from the BMX Doppler.

A few light showers occurred across parts of the area, including some over East Alabama. It looks a small area south of Berry in Fayette County may have gotten an inch of rain.

I estimate the total coverage across Central Alabama today was about 2%.

Parts of Clay, Randolph, Tallapoosa and Chambers Counties had a little better coverage (about 15%) but no major amounts.

Any rainfall reports out there?

I think showers and storms will be widely scattered tomorrow, with overall coverage about 15%.

Look for a better chance starting as early as tomorrow night and lasting into Monday as a northwestward moving tropical wave swings around the periphery of the Bermuda high and crosses Alabama. Rain chances on Monday will be in the 50-60% range. There could even be some decently strong storms then too.
