Did not mean to ignore Alabama this evening but we were trying to post as much information as possible about the unfolding tornado tragedy in Oklahoma.
However, nothing was going on around Alabama late today and this evening and still is not at 9:30 tonight.
That semi-illegal* rain that persisted across North Alabama most of the morning, diminished this afternoon and moved away. No rain anywhere in Alabama at this hour.
Tomorrow should be mostly dry, only a small risk of an isolated afternoon shower.
Dry weather for Wednesday and Thursday with highs around 88 or possibly 90.
In NW Alabama, the high in Bear Creek (in NE Marion County) was only 52 but it was 84 in Dothan and Evergreen. A few rain amounts:
0.60 Springville
0.08 Moundville
0,20 Weaver
* We sometimes call it an illegal rain when we were not expecting nearly that much. (just for the fun of it)
