Storms are becoming more linear. Tornado warning cancelled…the storms look more like damaging wind producers…there were lots of reports of wall clouds earlier with this storm…but it looks weaker…
Jefferson County…
Circulation passing well to the north of Downtown…passing near Adamsville and Graysville…evetually crossing I-65…in the Fultondale and Gardendale areas. Will then move to near Clay/Chalkville. Could produce a tornado at any time. Tornado warning goes til 515 pm now…
Tuscaloosa moving into SW Jefferson…
Strong rotation north of Abernant…moving into Jefferson County near Million Dollar Lakes…Bessemer and eventually Oxmoor Valley, Homewood and perhaps Hoover.
Tornado warning for Tuscaloosa until 415 and Jefferosn 515 pm. This storm will eventually threaten Liberty Park and Trussville.
Pickens County…
Strong evidence of rotation and large hail near just east of Aliceville…heading toward Coker…Tuscaloosa and Northport…again…Tornado warning extended until 445 pm.
Walker County…
Looks clear to me now…just rain and some embedded thunderstorms.
