Thanks Erin Gladden from Blount County for these images… she writes:
“Hey James,
This is Erin from atop St. Mountain in Blount County and I thought I would send you some pics of the snow that stuck last night. We still had a little bit on our decks and our grass this morning when we woke up.
Thanks for all you do!!! Have a great Easter!”
And, these pictures match this report nicely from nearby Pine Mountain:
“I just had to write to you and tell you that on Pine Mountain (between Remlap and Springville) last night from about 10:00 to 10:30 or so we had snow. Lots of it. It was beautiful. Just as you topped the mountain from the Springville side we ran into the snow. I thought at first that the winds were blowing off the dogwood blossoms but then – WOW – snow! Sometimes it was hard to see to drive. When I reached home it was still snowing enough to see it in the lights so we left the outside lights on for awhile to watch it.
When we got up this am at 6:15 or so it was only 25 degrees.
Keep up the good work.
Gerlene Branham”
