Very hot weather continues in California leading to even more wild fire danger and power blackouts. These are present temperatures:
98 Downtown Los Angeles
99 Long Beach
103 Fullerton
105 Van Nuys
108 Needles and Ontario
110 Palm Springs
111 Blythe
Those are 1 o’clock temperatures, California time. That means several more hours of rising temperatures before the afternoon is over.
Meanwhile, back home in Birmingham it was 88 but the dew point was down to 63. Don’t be surprised to hear of a low tomorrow morning of 58 or 59 in the deeper, cooler valleys of NE Alabama.
