The sky continues to slowly clear across the state, but we are still seeing a lot of those fair weather cumulus clouds as the cooler and drier air mass works its way into the state behind the front that moved through overnight. Highs today will not climb out of the 70s, and dew points currently in the mid-50s, will continue to drop the rest of today. That will be setting up a very cool and refreshing night across the state.
Once the sun sets, and with the sky being mainly clear, our temperatures are going to be dropping rapidly. Our winds will stay up some, so we are not expecting those ideal radiational cooling conditions, but we will still see temperatures well down into the 50s across Central Alabama. We can see below, by tomorrow morning, we should see a temperature range for morning lows of 50-55 degrees across much of North/Central Alabama.
Sunday will be nothing short of extraordinary. After starting the day off well down in the 50s, we are going to see sunshine galore, a light north wind, very low humidity, and highs in the mid and upper 70s across Central Alabama. Anything and everything you want to do outside tomorrow will have phenomenal fall-like weather.
