As of 355 am, arctic cold front has moved through most of BHM area, with NW winds becoming gusty.

It dropped 7 degrees in 12 minutes between 0530 and 0542 UTC (1130 and 1142 pm CST). Since then, it has been dropping steadily, about 2.5 degrees per hour. Should be in the teens there by 5 am.
Wind chills this morning across north and central Alabama will drop into the single digits at times with gusts, so dress warmly.
