It is a raw day across Alabama and much of the Southeast. We had one front move through overnight which has shifted our winds out of the north and is causing our temperatures to remain cool. Another front will be moving through this afternoon and will cause our temperatures to drop the rest of the day. We more than likely have reached our highs for the day and temperatures should fall through the 40s this afternoon.
Clouds are hanging tough today and we are still seeing some sprinkles and light showers. There are a few pockets of light showers across the northwest Alabama and Mississippi. These pockets of rain will continue to drift east through out the afternoon, but most locations should remain dry. Any showers that impact your location will be light and should not last long.
