Tropical depression six is becoming better organized tonight some 600 miles west southwest of the Cape Verde Islands. It is moving west northwest at 8 mph. Top winds are 35 mph. It will likely be Tropical Storm Danielle by morning.

Here is the forecast track. The system is expected to become a hurricane by Tuesday, but it should recurve to the north across the open waters of the Atlantic through a weakness in the subtropical ridge.
