Plenty of sunshine with just some high clouds across Central Alabama this afternoon. The clouds are thicker across the Tennessee Valley.
There are some radar returns over Northwest Alabama bur the precipitation is not generaaly reaching the ground. There could be a few sprinkles at time in that area.
To the west, heavier clouds and a few showers are over Mississippi. Those are having a hard time progressing eastward but some sprinkes or light showers may make it into North and Central Alabama tonight. Amounts will be light and coverage spotty.
A few showers are possible tommorow but confidence is low in this forecast.
