The National Weather Service will be installing a new NOAA Weather Radio transmitter at the Demopolis location on Tuesday, January 9th. If you listen to the broadcast from there on 162.475 megahertz, the broadcast will be off the air from 9 am to approximately 6 pm. Fortunately, no significant weather is anticipated for western Alabama tomorrow.
