IT IS OFFICIAL: 90F just before 4 pm at the Airport. The streak is intact.
RADAR: Draw a line from Winfield to Birmingham to Sylacauga and showers and storm are fairly numerous northeast of the line. Heavy rain and vivid lightning accompany the storms.
EARLIER POST: The temperature at the Birmingham Airport reached 89f just before 3pm. We will know in a few minutes, but the streak of consecutive days with 90 degree temperature at BHM may still be intact. (sigh).
