By far the most important showers early this evening were over SE Alabama mainly over Barbour County and extending NE to the Phenix City-Columbus, Ga., area.
The showers that were giving Tallapoosa County a good dose of rain had greatly diminished just before 7 o’clock.
Very little going on over the north half of Alabama. Small shower near Centreville, Bibb County and a few over Extreme NW Alabama.
Moving slowly NW. You could almost stay ahead of them by walking fast.
