Early tonight there were few, if any, showers in progress over the entire north half of Alabama. It appears that both the Alabama game in Tuscaloosa and the Auburn game at Auburn can be finished without a risk of showers. Mostly light showers were in progress from just south of Montgomery south eastward to Dothan, Ozark and even to Tallahassee in North Florida.
It still looks like the main rain event for Alabama will be at some point Sunday night, Monday and Tuesday. Some locally heavy amounts are possible during that time. Tonight the disturbance in the Gulf of Mexico was dumping most of the rain across Louisiana, East Texas and South Arkansas. Some very heavy rain was in progress along the Louisiana/Arkansas border.
