The showers and thunderstorms continue to wind down on Alabama’s west side.
However, heavy rain continued over SW Choctaw County SW of Butler. This is in SW Alabama. Also there was a small but heavy shower still hanging out over the SW corner of Sumter County about 10 miles SW of Livingston.
On the opposite corner of the state several moderate to heavy showers were over North Dekalb and West Jackson County.
The NE Alabama showers were moving toward the NW while the West Alabama showers were moving slowly (no, creeping) westward.
Some nice rain events today including over 4 inches in North Fayette County. Some of our reports do not come in till around 7:30 so it may be 8 o’clock or a little after before we can gather all the reports.
Meanwhile, there is fresh coffee. Priorities, you know…
