No showers or thunderstorms in Alabama very early on this Thanksgiving Day. Nearest was a line of showers and some thunderstorms over Northwest Arkansas.
High temperatures today will be in the 70s–perfect for outdoor activities. The 6 am temperature at Birmingham Airport was a comfortable 61.
Our main showers and storms will arrive tonight and extending into Friday morning. We still believe that most of the rain will be out of here before the 1:30 kickoff of the Alabama-Auburn game tomorrow in Tuscaloosa.
