Still only a few light showers in Central Alabama at 7 o’clock.
To the west, there was two lines of thunderstorms. The easternmost line was from NW Mississippi through West Tennessee to Southern Illinois.
A little more to the west, another line extended from North Louisiana across east Arkansas into SE Missouri.
These storms have grown stronger in the last several hours. The SPC maintains a “moderate risk” for most of that area. A Tornado Watch continues until 11 pm for…
….About the north third of Mississippi, except the NE part
….West Tennessee
….Extreme West Kentucky
….Southern Illinois
For tomorrow, there is a slight risk over a broad area from South Louisiana to NW Florida and northward all the way to Detroit, Cleveland, Buffalo and Pittsburgh. This includes all of Alabama.
