Strong storms with very heavy rain continue over East Alabama this evening… moving slowly southwest. In addition to heavy rain, they are producing vivid cloud to ground lighting and gusty winds.

Dry and Seasonable Conditions Continue
The upper-level ridge to our west and surface high pressure to our east keep Alabama mild and dry again today. The ridge will move eastward throughout the week allowing for a slowing warming trend to occur, but rain will stay out of the forecast. Continue reading

Pleasant Weekend on Tap
An upper-level ridge to our west and surface high pressure to the northeast will keep Alabama dry and slightly cooler this weekend. As we head into the week, the ridge will spread further into the state, warming us some and keeping rain chances at bay. Continue reading
