LATEST TRACK FORECAST

Little change. NHC track brings the center across the north edge of the Yucatan and into the SW Gulf of Mexico. It should emerge from the Yucatan Tuesday afternoon.

Projected landfall is on the Mexican Coast some 150 miles south of the U.S border Wednesday evening and well inland over Northern Mexico by Thursday afternoon.

Big, big caution. Forecast track that far ahead can have big errors although the NHC forecast has been persistent.

However, the cone of concern extends as far north as the Central Texas Coast.
