Widespread rain continued late tonight especially over Northeast and East Alabama.
A line of showers was over Northwest Alabama extending from near Decatur to North Pickens County. In fact the line of showers extended from Middle Tennessee to East Central Mississippi.
They were mostly near a cold front that had reached West Tennessee, Extreme Northwest Alabama and North Mississippi at 11 PM. Temperatures were in the upper 40s at Memphis but 60 or higher across Alabama.
The showers were generally light and there was no lightning.
Since no severe weather is expected overnight, this will probably be our last update until early morning. (Sc roll down to see a list of rainfall amounts around the state today. Also check the 7-day discussion for some even later totals.)
