until 6:00 a.m. CST. NWS advises that locally heavy rain of 3 to 4 inches is possible over NW Alabama and part of Central Alabama through 6:00 a.m. This is due to a slow-moving line of showers and thunderstorms which will bring heavy rain across the area overnight. Rain amounts could add up to 3 to 4 inches by morning. Although stream levels are low due to the recent drought conditions, some flash flooding is still possible.
