NWS/Birmingham issued a Special Weather Statement about Tuscaloosa County until 2:45. It is called a Significant Weather Alert.
They did that because of two strong thunderstorms, one 18 miles SW of Brookwood and the other one near Ralph.
Moving east at 15.
Look for strong winds, very heavy rain and dangerous lightning. Could be some minor flooding.
The ABC 33/40 Skywatcher in the city of Tuscaloosa reported heavy rain and thunder at 2:24 pm.
