I’m just sitting here all cozy in the weather center waiting for our late news to come on tonight and thought I’d pop on over to the blog. This has been a wonderful day. Nothing special has happened, but it’s just been one of those refreshing days for me. I love football and fall. The slight chill in the air has been wonderful! It makes me even more eager for the full season to arrive after stepping outside a few times today during commercial breaks and time-outs, ha! It’s a fun struggle this time of year. On a weekend like we are having, the weather can be simply beautiful and refreshing. On the other hand, there is football and it is on all day! I guess you could say I’m a huge sports fan.
I am looking forward to walking out of the station tonight to feel the cool air. I guess that is the downside to football. I have no idea when our “10 o’clock” show will come on or when we will get to go home for the night. The USC vs. Nebraska game still has 12 minutes in the 4th to go and it’s 10:34 PM. So yep, even when we go on late we are still here and live in the studio.
