They were already forming at 10:30 this morning–quite a bit earlier than yesterday.
A heavy shower was located along the Colbert-Franklin County line in NW Alabama. Moving slowly ESE. Places like Russellville and the small communities of Frankfort, Pleasant Site, Tharpton and Littleville may get some nice rain from this.
A few other lighter showers were in progress.
Prospects for helpful amounts of rain over the weekend still looks encouraging.
Two Alabama locations, Mobile and Moundville had two-inch rain amounts yesterday.
