“Hi James,
I’m a long time fan and we have just returned from Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Weather was great but the altitude was a little challenging. This is a picture of “ snow showers “ that were in the daily forecast. It’s an incredible thing to experience. Whether driving through one or having it pass over is fascinating.. There is an intense mixture of rain, pellet size sleet and heavy snowflakes. The temp would be 40 degrees ( measured by the car thermometer ) and would decrease inside the storm to 32 degrees until it passed.
I hear you say that a lot of our weather is generated out of the Rockies so these are our next storm system to come. I’ve included 2 pics. One of the Grand Tetons and the other of a snow shower. Notice the blue sky in the upper right hand corner of the snow shower!
