My daughter was so impressed that I posted her pictures on the Blog that she sent me some more. As you are probably aware, Chicago missed the really BIG snow, but they did get their share of the white stuff. Here are some of the interesting ones she sent.
The picture below is just outside Broadway Costumes and the snow was coming down at the time. Roads are not cleared yet, but the snow was reported to be fine and dry.

If you saw the earlier snow picture of the courtyard at my daughter’s apartment, here is another shot of it with the snow coming down. The sidewalk had been cleared earlier but now it’s going to need another treatment.

Some of the snow fell through the cracks – literally. This is in a partially enclosed area just outside the apartments back door. There is a roof over part of it but it is somewhat open allowing the snow to pile up – at least where the boards were.

Another pretty snow shot at night. Almost looks like the tracks disappear where they cross a road. Overall 6 to 8 inches of snow fell across much of Chicago with heavier amounts to the south of the city.
